Illinois Amazing Campaign

Client: Illinois Office of Tourism
Services: Concept, Design, Social, Print, OOH

1. Campaign Overview | Fall and Winter

Our objective was to build deliverables using the Amazing Campaign into social, digital display banners, print, and OOH for Fall and Winter.

During this campaign, we created concepts for each of these deliverables that would entice our target markets to travel to Illinois. We went through several rounds of iterations internally and with the clients to create the best work we could. Our team consisted of me (senior designer), creative directors, copy writers, animators, producers, etc. The following work is the result of our hard work.

2. Social Cinemagraphs

These assets were formatted for use in Paid Media posts in Facebook, Instagram and Pinterest

These posts were created as a fun way to bring life to static images and bring movement to the social posts that would attract attention from our target audiences. These following examples are just a few of the concepts we created.

3. Social Videos

These assets were formatted for use in Paid Media posts in Facebook, Instagram and Pinterest

These posts are other ways of using video in our social posts. We created boomerangs, GIFs, and frame animations in Photoshop for these.

4. Digital Display Banners

These are digital banners that were built out in all banner sizes beyond the two sizes shown below

These banners started out as static banners. Then we worked with an in house developer who created the HTML5 animations to bring the banners to life. The following are just 6 of the options that were created.

4. OOH

We created OOH pieces for international and domestic audiences

These creations vary from bus shelters, super bus shelters, London taxi wraps, Germany train wrap, digital billboards, etc.

4. Print

We created print pieces that were published in many publications domestically and internationally

The example below is a print ad that we created for the U.S. debut of the Lightscape show at the Chicago Botanic Gardens this past holiday season.
